I decided it's been far too long since I've posted some good, wholesome ZADR here.
with lora as my witness I tell you this is only the second or third actual-kiss I've ever drawn (and posted). I seem to be addicted to the just-before or just-after pics. to explain the pose: I figure zim's been yanking on dib's shirt collar just a little to hard -- dib loses his balance, falls into zim, decides "what the hell" and smooches him. zim looks sufficiently horrified. I pacified my sudden and violent urge to draw dib in red sneakers. yeah, I don't know either. the proportions (height, dib's head, etc) are so tragically off. for shame, me. SHAME. the line's from "Yeah, Whatever" by Splender. jo had it on when we were driving home and the line more or less inspired this, despite the fact that the pic has nothing else to do with the song. I mostly included it for layout purposes. which I wouldn't really have needed to do if I'd just got off my ass and done a background. alas. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
